Satellite TV

By: Gene Stewarts

Long before the fame of the web, television used to be every person’s primary source of information when it comes to news, music, sports, movies, weather and a host of other subjects. People were delighted even more when cable TV became available, giving them a broader choice of channels than they once did. Problem is, people living in rural areas do not experience cable TV advantage because of their relatively far location. So for many years, they just had to settle with antennas for providing television signals. This simply denoted fewer channels, and most of the time, sending someone outside to fix the antenna and hope for a better, clearer signal. Want to experience TV in a new way? Use the satellite!
Satellite TV now offers a better alternative to cable TV viewing. There are over 30 million people using the services of Satellite TV now. Viewers will get access to more channels than they imagined, from network family-favorites like, CNN, HBO, and ESPN, to more less-known options like the Speed Channel, Discovery Wings, the Love Stories network and other international programs, there is a satellite TV channel to suit every interest. Whether you're into cartoons, music, extreme sports, history or romance, you will find it all, and much, much more, on Satellite TV.
Satellite TV also presents a healthier option than renting movies. Viewers no longer have to worry about penalties and late fees. PC owners with internet connection may also enjoy Satellite TV by downloading it free through the web.

In addition, one reason that more parents now prefer satellite TV over cable TV is because of it’s control locks feature. If there are channels you don’t want your children to watch, you simply have to lock those channels. This will then require a parental code to anyone who tries to open these “locked” channels – a service unavailable to cable TV viewers.

Using Satellite TV isn’t even as complicated as some presume. You’ll just need a satellite dish (either a round 18" dish or an oval 18" x 20" dish), a receiver (also available with a built-in digital video recorder) and a remote control - all of which will be given to you when you subscribe to Satellite TV service – and you’re ready for supreme viewing experience.

When it comes to reliability, cost, and customer service, most major cable companies also do not even come close to Satellite TV providers, according to a recent survey.
Truly, Satellite TV is here to stay. Viewers now have more reasons of enjoying TV now than ever before.
